Covent Garden is an area of central London, shared between the London Borough of Camden and the City of Westminster, known for its tourist-magnet properties. It is largely within the WC2 postal district.
Its focus is Covent Garden Piazza, an open square which used to be the site of a wholesale fruit and vegetable market - however, the fruit and veg are long gone, and the stalls within the market building now cater mostly to tourists.
According to the Wikipedia link below, the boundaries of the Covent Garden area are High Holborn (and New Oxford Street) to the north (the area historically known as "St Giles"), Kingsway to the east, the Strand to the south, and Charing Cross Road to the west.
