Wetherspoons provide free wireless access in their pubs, via The Cloud. As of late 2012, to take advantage of this you just need to register for a (free) The Cloud account by connecting to their network and then browsing to any web page, from which you will be redirected to a login/registration form. Details registered here are usable in any Wetherspoons pubs and any other pubs using the same scheme.

(This replaces the older schemes where you'd ask for a 30-minute voucher when you order food or drink, or where usernames and password were supplied via leaflets at the bar.)
