Harvest Moon, BR6 0LQ

Wetherspoons pub in Orpington.

It's a totally standard Wetherspoons, with a low ceiling, patterned carpet, a mix of high and normal seating, and old photos and historical information about the area on the walls. It does perhaps have an above-average endowment of booths.

Kake visited on a Thursday afternoon in May 2019. It was quite full when I arrived around 2pm, but there were still free tables and even one free booth. No music was playing, as is usual for Wetherspoons, and there was a good buzz of conversation.

The handpumps were clipped for the usual Wetherspoons options of Ruddles Best, Abbot Ale, Sharp's Doom Bar, and so on, the most interesting option probably being the Ringwood Forty-Niner. A pint of lime and soda was 80p.

Accessibility: No steps to get in. There's a door with the sign for an accessible toilet on the ground floor, but we haven't checked what lies beyond. The other toilets are up a flight of stairs with a bend in the middle and a handrail on both sides. One of the cubicles in the ladies' is larger than usual and has a door that opens outwards.
