Historical version 2 of Category Thameslink (view current version)

Thameslink is a rail route running across London from north to south. It begins at Bedford in the north, and enters the Travelcard zones at Elstree and Borehamwood. It then passes through St Pancras International, Farringdon, City Thameslink, and Blackfriars before crossing the river via [Blackfriars Railway Bridge]?. At this point the route branches. One branch heads via London Bridge nonstop to East Croydon and thence south out of London to Brighton. The other goes via Elephant and Castle to run around the Sutton Loop.

It also connects Luton Airport in the north to Gatwick Airport in the south.
