Historical version 6 of Category Mitchells And Butlers (view current version)

One of the largest operators of managed pubs in the UK, Mitchells and Butlers was originally a brewer, but in the late-90s moved into pub management and divested itself of its brewing operations.

It now owns a number of distinct brands -- most prominent, at least in London, being Nicholson's, All Bar One, O'Neill's, and Scream. They also operate the Ember Inns, Harvester, Toby Carvery and Vintage Inns brands (most of which are to be found on the outskirts).

Finally, they control a number of unbranded pubs in the capital which fall under the internal sub-brand of Castle.
