Zone 2 Tube station on the District, East London, and Hammersmith & City lines.
Northern terminus of the East London Line. Shoreditch used to be the terminus until it closed - there is a replacement bus service between Whitechapel and the west end of Bethnal Green Road that is supposed to run until the end of the year (2007). Only runs before 10:30am and between 3:30pm and 8:30pm, weekdays. And sometime on a sunday.
