Welcome to the Randomness Guide to London.

What is this?

It's a kind of database, kind of review site, used for documenting interesting places in London. Want to find a Good Beer Guide pub within half a kilometre of Waterloo Station? Or a sushi restaurant near a cinema? That's what this is for. (See the Waterloo Station page for the former, and here for the latter.)

We're still importing location data, but we've got all the Tube and DLR stations, and all the Good Beer Guide pubs, and we're adding more all the time.

This is not, and never will be, a commercial guide. It's a grassroots thing, set up for the benefit of its contributors. You can use it too, if you like. Or not, if you don't. We don't care :)

Our major obsessions are pubs and restaurants.

How to use it

Basically do what you want, but if in doubt you may wish to see the not-very-strict House Style Guidelines. Here are some easy ways to contribute.

We have a map of everything on this guide.
