Historical version 7 of Curzon Bloomsbury (view current version)

Art-house cinema near Russell Square Station, in the Brunswick Centre. It also has a small bar.

There are two screens, and the seats can be a little uncomfortable. However, the selection of films is usually excellent, with lots of the more difficult arthouse titles.

It used to be owned by Artificial Eye, but is now part of the Curzon Cinemas chain.

Accessibility: The bar and screens are underground, accessed via staircases with sturdy handrails. There is an accessible toilet on the bar level, and (according to their website — we didn't verify this) a lift to get from ground level to bar level. However there is no lift to get from bar level to screen level (5 steps).
