This is part of a small chain - there are two shops, this one and one other on Selhurst Road in South Norwood, SE25 6XU - of cake makers. They make wedding cakes and other decorated cakes for things like birthdays, but more importantly for this guide the shop also functions as a cafe, selling tea, coffee, soft drinks, some Turkish savouries, and of course baklava, cakes and biscuits. They're remarkably cheap. For example, a coffee (which normally comes with a free small slice of sponge cake) plus cream doughnut plus big slice of chocolate cake is four quid.

They also sell some Turkish groceries - nuts, dried fruit, sausages, some tinned goods, Turkish delight and the like.
