Good Beer Guide pub near Old Street.

Has a constantly changing range of real ales on tap with at least one mild normally.

Does very basic pub food. The black pudding sandwedges are very good. Does salt beef sandwedges too. Also pasties.

According to an advert in the August/September 2008 issue of London Drinker, the Wenlock has Liefmans Kriek on draught as well as a wide selection of continental bottled beer (including Duvel and Chimay), and it always has at least one mild on. The advert also says the function room is free to CAMRA members, Thursday night is quiz night, and there's jazz piano on Sunday afternoons and jazz/blues every Friday and Saturday evening.

Good news for cyclists who don't want to get their bikes nicked! Tom says: “if it's not too crowded, the staff will usually let you take a bike indoors and leave it by the back door. There's room for 2 or 3 before it starts getting too snug there.”
