Historical version 9 of Red Lion, SW13 9RU (view current version)

Fuller's pub in Barnes, in the Good Beer Guide. Sounds like it might be a bit gastropubby.

Opening times taken from the 2007 Good Beer Guide.

Comment added by Kake: It is indeed on the upmarket side. Semi-open kitchen to the side of the bar. Ridge at the entrance, though there may be level access at the side. Level access to bar, seating area, and toilets once you're in. A handful of people in, one party with a baby in a pushchair. Red Fox 1.60/half, also Pride and two others (Discovery might be one). Two handpumps at each end of the bar, so I thought they only had two at first. Piped music but not too loud (Heart of Gold, stuff like that).

Comment added by Kake: Dark wood, bare floorboards, worn rugs, arched ceiling, chandelier-style lighting. I suspect they do food all day, as the menus are out at the moment. Three choices of sandwiches priced between 5.50 (BLT) and 6 (chargrilled lemon chicken with tomato and avocado). Light meals from 4 (soup of the day) to 7 (corned beef hash with fried egg). Mains from 8.75 (stuffed butternut squash with chestnuts, cheddar, and cabbage) to 16 (8oz ribeye steak with pink and green peppercorn sauce and handcut chips).
