Vegetarian Indian restaurant on Drummond Street near Euston Station. Smaller print on the restaurant's name calls it "Ravi Shankar Bhel-Poori House".

This place has been around a while and lies on a street with many other South Indian vegetarian restaurants, and has a slightly more polished frontage than some of the others. In the evenings it can get busy, but they are usually able to fit people in (we were able to be seated on a Friday evening).

Service is brisk like most of these places, and the food specialises in dosas, some of which can fairly tower over one's plate. Ewan's Mysore masala dosa was long and thin, lying across the plate, but very tasty. As starter we had the dahi vada (lentil balls with a sauce), a cold dish but a nice one, even if the balls were somewhat doused in the yoghurty sauce.

The overall price is a little more expensive than its neighbour, the Diwana, but still good value.
