Historical version 10 of Ragam, W1T 4JN (view current version)

Restaurant in Fitzrovia, serving South Indian and Keralan food.

In the 2007 Good Curry Guide.

The restaurant was nearly empty when Kat visited on a Thursday evening after work. The utthappam (a lentil and rice 'pizza' with chopped chillis cooked into it) was big enough to make me glad I hadn't ordered a starter, and hot enough to make my nose start running (in a good way).

The price is as pleasant as the food — the most expensive dish on the specialities menu was around £5. They also offer cans of 'real' (i.e. cloudy) lemonade instead of the usual Sprite/7Up.

Kat would also highly recommend one of the enormous dosas.

itsbruce's verdict: The decor has improved a bit since Matthew Norman visited; the food is still wonderful.
