Japanese restaurant near Baker Street Station.

bob visited on a Thursday night in June. There were a few customers in already at 21:00 and few more came afterwards. The restaurant can seat 36 at tables and possibly another 5 at the sushi bar. The menu is quite large and has a japanese only section of two pages.

bob went for the Nambu Special dinner(£36). This consisted of some very good but uninteresting sushiphoto. A very tasty seafood and mushroom soup served in a tea potphoto,photo, photo. Some very well executed tempuraphoto. Although the batter could have been slightly lighter. Skewers of seafood served with miso soup, rice and bean sprouts.photo. The skewers consisted of squid, prawn, a delicately cooked scallop and some salmon. The meal was finished off with some a plate of fruit consisting of two bits or orange and some honey dew melon. Green tea was free and regularly topped up.
