Zone 1 Tube station on the Jubilee and Northern lines (Bank branch). Also a major rail station.

The Tube station has exits at both ends; the most-used end takes you through The Vaults[0] to the mainline station, and the other end brings you out on Borough High Street — when you get to this end, take the exit with the steps for Borough Market, [Vinopolis]?, the Market Porter, etc (west side of the street), and the one with the escalator for the George and other stuff on the east side of the street.

[0] The Vaults — a collection of gourmet food places including Cranberry (dried fruits and nuts), Celtic Bakers, a fish/seafood place, Chocology, a couple of salad bar/deli places, etc. More details on the Londonist link below. This possibly deserves its own page, but I'm not sure what to call it.
