Historical version 5 of Locale Abbey Wood (view current version)

An area of South-East London in SE2 named after Lesnes Abbey (founded 1178), though there were never more than a handful of residents until a railway station opened in 1850. Expansion occurred in the early-20th century, but more extensive estates weren't constructed until after the 1950s.
