Large Chinese cash-and-carry on an industrial estate in Silvertown.

It has a large vegetable section including more unusual things like pandan leaves, fresh lotus seeds, fresh water chestnuts, many kinds of greens and gourds, and garlic by the 4.5kg bag (and smaller bags too). Prices are pretty good (as of April 2010, you can get four bulbs of garlic for 75p and three large aubergines for just under £2).

Next to the vegetable department is an extensive freezer section with many kinds of frozen dim sum, and along the back of the store are fresh fish and meat counters. A hardware section carries hotpot strainers, steamer doilies, and other such items.

As well as many aisles of Chinese groceries (vinegars, soy sauces, preserved vegetables, noodles, spices, etc), they also stock smaller selections of Japanese, Thai, and other Asian groceries.

Accessibility: Carpark outside, no steps to get in, aisles are nice and wide.

Getting here: The nearest station is King George V on the Woolwich Arsenal branch of the DLR. The quickest route from the station is to go straight ahead along Pier Road, then turn right at the junction with Albert Road and continue along until you see the footbridge over the old railway line; Loon Fung is on the other side of this. For a step-free (but longer) route, don't turn off at Albert Road but continue along Pier Road and follow it around to the right, past the bus stops, until you can't go any further; you should at this point be at Henley Road, which leads off to the right. Go down Henley Road, turn left at the bottom onto Factory Road, and Loon Fung is a little further along.
