Samuel Smith's pub near Westminster Cathedral, located on the corner of Windsor Place and Francis Street.

Previously known as the Cardinal photo, it closed for refurbishment in 2010, with the interior completely gutted according to Pubs Galore. It was renamed to the Windsor Castle when it reopened in mid-2011, a name it has had before.

On bob's December 2008 visit they had Old Brewery Bitter on tap (£1.88). There was a bookable function room. Food was advertised as being served noon-2:15pm and 5:30pm-8:30pm Monday to Thursday, and noon-2:15pm Friday and Saturday. (Note that we don't know if any of this will still apply after the refurb.)
