Italian restaurant near Chalfont and Latimer Station, part of a small chain. Decor is modern and clean. They have a couple of sofas beside the bar, and a number of tables and chairs on the decking outside.

We visited early on a Sunday evening around 6pm; we were the only customers there when we first entered, but it filled up a bit later on. Service was friendly, with an obvious sense of humour.

We shared our starters; two orders of bruschetta (very good, and generous with the tomatoes), one of garlic bread "rosso" (again very good, not dry or overly crunchy like garlic bread sometimes is), and one of garlic bread "in bianco" (didn't try this; someone else will have to comment).

Mains included gnocchi (people seemed to like this), melanzane parmigiana (again, Sarah seemed happy with hers), and prawn and crab cavatelli, which came from the extensive specials board and was very good; neither stingy nor excessive with the seafood, a very flavoursome sauce, and pasta cooked just right.

We were drinking the house red (around £12/bottle, I think), which was quite acceptable. They also brought tap water with no argument; five full glasses plus a full jug.

Including service, which was added automatically, we paid £19 each (£95 total) for four starters, five mains, and three bottles of wine.

A sign outside spotted in September 2007 stated that a two-course lunch is available for £9 Monday–Saturday.

Last visited 30 September 2007 by Kake, Ewan, Jo, Sarah, and Alex. Opening hours confirmed by email, October 2007.
