Chinese/Thai/Malaysian Takeaway place in SE1.

Kake and bob ordered a Takeaway from here on a Wednesday night in December(New Years Eve) through Hungry House.

Salt and Pepper Spare ribs(£4.95) were okay with lots of chopped vegetables and red chillies. They cut in to triangular pieces which mad it hard to eat the meat. Prawn Dumplings(£5.45) were okay. We got more than we expected. We think the vegetables dumplings(£5.45) didn't turn up and we got curried potato samosas instead. They were fine. The Malaysian chicken satays(£4.70) had some heat to them and were actually quite good. The Crispy Shredded beef(£6.05) was adequate. The sweet and pork balls(£4.75) were actually very good. Not to large and had a nice crispy batter. The sweet and sour sauce wasnt good though. Noodles with Bean sprouts(£3.95) were fine. We also ordered some extra homemade chilli oil which was terribly burnt. We were supposed to get a free bottle of wine but this didnt materialise. So we think the order was slightly confused.

In conclusion it was an adequate meal but nothing special. The confusion with our order didnt help. The Malaysian curries may be worth a go. There are certainly better Chinese restaurants to order from.
