Wetherspoons pub in Sutton.

It's one of the nicer Wetherspoonses, despite the low ceiling, with flock-style wallpaper on feature walls and pillars, elegant lampshades, and a carpet less hideously-patterned than usual for a traditional-style pub. Much of the seating is raised on a dais, which leads back to a smaller area separated off by large pillars; this features some nice half-round velveteen banquettes, and the abovementioned flock-style wallpaper on two walls photo.

Kake visited on a Monday morning in September 2014. There were several other customers in at 10:45am, some of them having a late breakfast. It still didn't feel very full, due to the size of the place, but there was a pleasant buzz of conversation which negated the lack of music.

The handpumps offered Twickenham Naked Ladies, Vale VPA, and one or two other interesting ones as well as the usuals such as Ruddles and Sharp's Doom Bar. A pint of lime and soda was £1.25.

According to signs on the tables on this visit, breakfast is served until noon, and the main menu is available all day until 11pm.

Accessibility: Two or three steps to get in at the front entrance, but there's a step-free entrance via the patio beer garden round the side/back. This step-free entrance is level with the accessible toilet (a sign on the door says to get the RADAR key from the bar) and the majority of the seating. However, due to slight confusion while taking notes on our visit we can't confirm that this area also has step-free access to the bar.
