A tiny Irish-themed pub near the Piazza in Covent Garden.

This is a small single-room carpeted pub with only one table, shelves along the walls and a mixture of tall and normal height stools for those seated. Most of the space is kept empty, though, presumably for the crowds of after-work and pre-theatre drinkers. Decor is Irish-themed including photos of the bar and the locals, thereby managing to retain a locals' ambience despite its busy central city location.

There are two handpulls, with Courage Best and Spitfire on a May 2009 visit. There are the usual draught taps, including Guinness of course. The bar also advertises over 70 whiskies, and a short wine list has six red and five white wines, at £4.50-£6 for a large 250ml glass.

They serve a range of basic pub food at lunchtime, including sandwiches and chips. One end of the bar has a heated area, with meat prominently on display, but this is cleared up around 3pm or so, at the end of the lunchtime service.

Accessibility: Toilets are down some very narrow stairs, and there generally isn't much room at all inside.
