Greasy Spoon in Whitechapel

bob and 4 co-workers made a visit just before 13:00 on a Friday in August. We easily found seats at a long table for 8. There was at least one other long table also available at the time. There where about 8 customers in when we arrived and about 6 joined us while we were there.

bob had a set 2 with unbuttered toast and a bottle of water(£5.90)photo. Notably while the breakfast says it comes with Tea or Coffee I didnt pay extra for my water. The eggs were only slightly runny. The hash browns were fine. The sausage was okay for its style and the bacon was fine as well. The beans were plentiful. One of our group had the Jardin Special breakfast(£7.50) and they were happy to do fried instead of scrambled eggs. The person eating a set 3 (£6.50) seemed to be happy enough. The others had Jacket potatoes and didnt complain.

bob's verdict: Decent enough greasy spoon with friendly staff.
