This café, which opened 26 May 2010 on the site of the old Honest Foods veggie restaurant, serves simple but high quality cafe food, artisanal bread and a selection of single-variety ciders, perries and apple juices (also mead). They do a large Full English Breakfast for £8.50, vegetarian breakfast for £5.50, Eggs Benedict, Eggs Florentine, hemp porridge as well as daily specials. The apple-derived drinks all seem to come from a single source, Hecks Farmhouse in Somerset, but are none the worse for that.

On a Sunday lunch visit, itsbruce had cannellini beans in spicy tomato sauce on sourdough toast with sausages. The presentation was simple but the food was very well flavoured and the sausages were excellent. His companion had the Eggs Florentine and was equally pleased with the results. The accompanying apple juices were delicious; coffee to close was also very good. A very pleasant lunch for two came to £14.45. itsbruce will be rounding up cider and perry fans for an evening visit in the very near future.

Closing times seem to be unpredictable as they do private functions.
