Rare and secondhand bookshop in Carshalton.

It's a single room, not large, with bookshelves around the walls and more books piled on tables in the centre photo. An armchair sits under the window, for those who prefer an extended browse before buying.

Both fiction and non-fiction are represented, with fiction taking the larger share. Much of the fiction is general fiction, though there are also small separate sections for genres such as fantasy, SF, horror, and crime.

The occasional rare book is interspersed among the regular secondhand stock; the higher prices on these are clearly marked with price tags. Pricing of the other books is denoted by a coloured dot on the spine, which is explained by a chart on the wall.
