Zone 1 Tube and rail station on the Circle and District lines. It's the next station south from City Thameslink on the Thameslink lines; the line splits south of here to go via either Elephant & Castle on a little tour of south London taking in Sutton and Wimbledon, or London Bridge to East Croydon, Gatwick, and eventually Brighton.

Major works are taking place to the station as part of the Thameslink Upgrade programme. The railway station will not close except for a period of four weeks over summer 2010, though the Tube station will be closed for rebuilding from March 2009 until 2011. Source
