Locals' pub in Croydon, within a short walk of both East Croydon Station and West Croydon Station.

Inside, it's a single fairly small room with the bar in one corner. Decor is traditional. There's also a fair bit of outside seating on the patio at the front, including some under cover.

Kake and bob visited on a Wednesday early evening in January 2013. There were a fair few people in when we arrived at 6:15pm, and we got the last free table. Music was playing very quietly. Three real ales were on offer: London Pride (£3.20/pint), Courages Directors (£3.20/pint), and Sharp's Doom Bar.

As of January 2013, food is served weekday lunchtimes only. They do however have Monster Munch and pork scratchings for those feeling peckish in the evenings.

Accessibility: A couple of steps to get in. It's step-free to the bar, seating area, and ladies' once you're in (didn't check the gents') but some of the seating is on high stools.
