This postal district covers the Docklands -- specifically, Isle of Dogs (including Millwall and Cubitt Town) -- as well as Limehouse to the west and Poplar to the north. It is within the London Borough of Tower Hamlets.
It crosses the River Thames at the Greenwich Foot Tunnel (and a DLR tunnel between Island Gardens Station and Cutty Sark Station), as well as for road traffic by the Blackwall Tunnel. The Jubilee Line crosses under the river twice, from SE16 to SE10 via Canary Wharf Tube Station.
