This station is currently being renovated and expanded. As of December 2011, the main Tube entrance on Cowcross Street is temporarily closed, with passengers being redirected to the side entrance in Turnmill Street. Also, a new National Rail ticket hall has been opened across from the temporarily-closed Tube entrance on Cowcross Street, giving access to the Thameslink platforms.
