Micropub in Whyteleafe, in the Good Beer Guide.
It's a small pub with high bench seating, six tables, and a few window seats.
Northern Steve, bob, Martin, Ilmari, and Paddy visited on a Wednesday evening in September 2016. It was very busy for a Wednesday, with what seemed like mainly locals.
There were five real ales on, including Whitstable Renaissance (£3.20/pint), Heavy Industry Electric Mountain (£3.40/pint), and Kent Brewers Reserve (£3.80/pint), as well as around three real ciders. The Renaissance was well kept.
Food is limited to bar snacks, and they're also cash only — no cards. The opening hours seem to be somewhat ad-hoc; on our visit they closed earlier than the 9:30pm advertised, and indeed the sign with the hours on states that they vary "depending on how tired I feel, the number of customers and which way the wind is blowing".
