bob and others visited on a Tuesday evening in March 2018. There were a few tables left when we arrived around 6pm, but it soon filled up. A game of darts was going on in one corner.
Ten real ales were on: Barnsley Bitter (£3.90/pint, and well-kept), Dark Star Hophead, Dark Star Pale Ale, Pig and Porter Stout, Mighty Oak Oscar Wilde Mild, Windsor and Eton Revenant, Moor So'Hop, Siren Suspended In Mosaic, and Siren Soundwave. They also had three real ciders as well as several keg beers.
Basic pub food was available: Pie Minster pies (£5), baked camembert with bread and honey (£5), and a selection of toasties including cheese (£3), ham and cheese (£4), and tuna melt (£5). Pork scratchings were £1.20
