Japanese takeaway place close to Blackfriars Station and City Thameslink Station. It also has some eat-in space — two four-person tables, plus a counter with high stools.
It is primarily a place for City workers to get lunch. Prices are extremely reasonable for the area, with a sashimi bowl running at £5, nigiri and maki combinations of 4-6 pieces at £2-4, and soups for £1-2 (as of March 2011). It also has a hot buffet with pan-Asian standbys including spring rolls, teriyaki chicken, and steamed dumplings.
The sushi is nothing to write home about, but is perfectly decent and very good value. The tempura was a little greasy on Kerry's last visit, however.
Accessibility: A small step up to get in. Not sure about toilets (or indeed if there are any).
