The interior is crammed full of brass ornaments and pictures on both the walls and ceiling, making for a cosy environment. On a Friday evening visit in January 2013 it was very full indeed and remained so until around 9.30pm (though the weather was pretty bad, so no-one was drinking outside). There were at least four handpumps in use, including Brodies' Bethnal Green Bitter and Sambrooks' Wandle. |
