Small, dog-friendly gastropub, located on a residential street in Barnes. Decor is fairly upmarket, with wooden floors and furniture. There's a small beer garden to the rear.
Kat visited on a Thursday evening in April 2016. At least four dogs were in attendance, including one in our party, who was made to feel very welcome by the bar staff. There's a water bowl by the bar (regularly topped up during the evening) and a couple of dog toys available to entertain your canine chum. The human clientele were mostly locals having dinner (half of the pub was laid out for table service) — it cleared out after half past 9.
You can order at the bar, but the staff were also taking food and drink orders at the non-laid-out tables. The food was great, though definitely priced at 'gastro' levels — a butternut squash pie was around £12. There were two ale handpulls available (a pint of Tribute was reasonably well kept) and also a cloudy Breton cider. A service charge was automatically added to our bill.
Accessibility: a low step to get in, then level throughout. Toilet cubicles are on the small side.
