A good solid Greene King pub, convenient to King's Cross St Pancras Station, which boasts the virtue of not having been pushed towards 'gastro' and still serves a local clientele.
There's a pool table and a reasonably sized outdoor area; inside, tables arrayed over two levels within the pub (separated by a few steps). Sport is shown on a big screen on the top level.
They serve a perfectly good selection of food, and have an extensive burger selection if you ask behind the bar (including several vegetarian options).
The beers are standard Greene King options (Greene King IPA, Abbot Ale, Old Speckled Hen). There's a wine list, and basic lagers available.
