Restaurant serving cheap, quick, tasty Thai food near London Bridge Station. They also run a pub nearby.
It's sort of a bit canteen-style; the tables are small and quite close together, and it's not really somewhere you go to linger over coffee, but the service is fast and efficient, so it's great if you're in a bit of a hurry. Caters well for vegans.
The toilets are downstairs. There are also tables downstairs if upstairs is full. We mananged to get a table downstairs at 19:30 on a Friday night, and it never got that busy down there.
One bowl dishes with duck or prawns are £6.90. The jungle curry is very hot. Bob has yet to have a bad dish there. Dean swears by the yellow curry. The Imperial Platter is a good starter.
They have Singha in bottles.
secretlondon and a colleague had lunch there in August 2009. I was told that sometimes it is full over lunchtime, we luckily got the last table. We had no idea about the downstairs. The food was fine but I forgot to take notes.
