The platter was described as "tandoori chicken, seekh kebab, lamb chop and salmon tikka, served with a naan bread", but it arrived with chicken tikka instead of the promised lamb chop. It came with naan bread, mint sauce, and a small salad, and apart from the missing lamb chop it was fine. |

The fish amritsai, which was described as "succulent chunks of cod immersed in an aniseed and gram flour batter in spices and deep fried", wasn't as exciting as it sounded. I couldn't taste the aniseed. The paneer kofta (as a side dish) was two small vegetable balls whose taste was masked by swimming in lots of yoghurt sauce. I couldn't tell if there was any cheese in the balls. |
