As of February 2013 the premises were occupied by Crave Kitchen, though as of March 2013 it's possible that Crave Kitchen has closed; secretlondon noted that it was closed during morning rush hour and again on a weekday lunchtime. As of August 2013, Crave has definitely closed. As of April 2014, according to the LondonSE1 forum, it's under refurbishment, though there are no clues as to what it will be. <div class="old_info"> German sandwich shop on Westminster Bridge Road near Lambeth North Station and the junction with Lower Marsh. secretlondon popped in there one Friday morning in February 2009. I had a filter coffee (80p) and later came back for a salami sandwich in a roll topped with sunflower seeds (£2.50). It was rather nice. |

A German sandwich shop on Westminster Bridge Road near Lambeth North Station and the junction with Lower Marsh.
Like the related Zeitgeist @ The Jolly Gardeners it is German-themed. It opened in February 2009 on the site of the Village Deli.

They do a variety of sandwiches and thing such as large pickled cucumbers (80p) and sauerkraut. There may have been some hot food. It is very small and there is nowhere to sit.
