The menu is very short, offering four meat and four vegetarian dishes along with a few accompaniments. The food is made in advance and reheated to order, so your meal arrives very quickly. The menu changes from time to time but as of December 2009 the meat and fish dishes are £6.50 and the vegetarian are £5-£5.50. To accompany the main courses they have rice or freshly prepared bread (£3.50/portion), as well as small dishes of pickled vegetables (£2/portion). The bread is only available in the evening and is normally not ready until after 7pm. To drink they have tea, coffee and a minty yoghurt drink, as well as a few beer and wine choices. They have a tray of baklava for dessert. They don't take cards, only cash or cheque, but there are a number of cash machines nearby. Prices as of December 2009 |

It's quite small inside, and they do tend to crowd people in. The interior is utilitarian, with long, pine-colored tables for communal seating. A place for a quick bite to eat rather than somewhere to linger, although they do not hurry you out unless they need the table. The restaurant is spread over two floors, with one large shared table and one small table downstairs, and more tables upstairs. They take bookings and it is wise to book if you wish to visit, as it can fill up very quickly. [[Billy]] visited on a Wednesday evening in December 2009. I had the fish curry with potatoes, which was lightly spiced and very nice. I got a table at about 6:30pm, but by 7pm the restaurant was filling and there were a number of bookings coming in, as well as people coming in to book for later in the evening. |
