A reasonable pub in Norbiton/Kingston, part of a chain (a subgroup of the Orchid Group) which includes the Cock and Dragon in Cockfosters and the Green Dragon in Winchmore Hill.
Seats can be very narrow — some can be a bit of a struggle to fit into — and they have those stupid knee high tables round half the bar (the other half is bar stools and high tables). There's also a beer garden out the back with picnic benches, some sheltered with umbrellas.
When Kake, bob, and Richard visited in August 2009 they had London Pride (£3/pint) and Old Speckled Hen on handpump.
They do Thai food as well as a selection of standard pub food. Northern Steve has visited on various lunchtimes during the week. On one visit, I ordered sing chow mai (£6.45), which was quite nice and reasonably spiced.
Northern Steve would imagine there being no atmosphere in the evening as the whole thing feels like the bar section of a restaurant rather than a bar with a restaurant attached.
Accessibility: One rather high step up to get in. A smaller step down to get into the beer garden. Didn't check the toilets.
