Vietnamese restaurant and takeaway on Camberwell Church Street in Camberwell. It seems to have been renamed to Hin Ving. The review below refers to Hoa Viet. It may be different now.
There were about 8 tables and a busy takeaway service (no delivery).
There was background music - ambient electronic.
It is licenced. Vietnamese Hue Beer as well as Tsing Tao.
secretlondon visited one Friday night in October 2008. She got a table at 6.30 but wouldn't have done so later.
She had Vietnamese spring rolls photo, king prawns with vermicelli photo and banana fritters and ice cream photo. Together with a bottle of Hue Beer photo it came to £15 including service.
She visited again on a Friday night in January 2009. It was much quieter.
Accessibility: One stair to enter, and toilet up a steep flight of stairs.
