Good Beer Guide pub in Catford. The Good Beer Guide puts this is “at the Broadway entrance to the Catford Mews shopping centre”.

The pub stretches back quite a long way, with no natural light except right at the front, dominated by dark wood and dark red upholstery. Much of the seating is in a raised area (three steps and a handrail separate it from the bar); the seating at ground level is mostly tall stools. No steps for either gents' or ladies' - there's a disabled loo too but it's locked.

On a June 2008 visit, silent tennis plays on a large projection screen, with no music (they just put on one song, very quietly, then we went back to silence, which suggests a jukebox, though none could be spotted). Just before 6pm on a Tuesday there are a few other customers but about 90% of the seating is free.

Ales on handpump are Young's ordinary (£2.40/pint), Young's Special (£2.70) and Bombardier (£2.95). Bottled Kew Gold is £2.45.
