Fish and chip restaurant in Covent Garden.
There are several varieties of fish, including cod, haddock, and the eponymous plaice. They also offer battered sausages and a couple of vegetarian options (e.g. breaded camembert). There are various side dishes, e.g. baked beans and mushy peas.
There are tables outside with heating elements above them. Each table has two benches (with backs) on each side, and each bench is roughly equivalent to three chairs. There's a sign inside the shop which says these tables may be restricted to customers who order a full meal (not just drinks) during peak times.
When John and friends visited on a Saturday evening in November 2012 (at about 6pm), we were able to get four empty tables for our group. It was quite expensive: £2 for a soft drink (including 330ml cans). However, the staff were very friendly.
Accessibility: the outdoor tables are on the pavement, and the staff come to the table to collect orders, bring food, and collect payment.
