Category: Pie And Mash Shops
Traditional pie and mash shops. The general etiquette in these places is that you queue up at the counter, your order is dished out immediately, you pay right away, and then move along to collect your cutlery and find a seat. It's cheap, quick, filling food.
The menu is generally quite short, and your options are likely to be limited to deciding between pie and stewed eels, deciding between gravy and "liquor" (parsley sauce), and choosing how many scoops of potato you want. The standard pie is always made with minced beef, though some pie and mash shops also offer vegetarian and even vegan fake-meat pies.
