Pizza Express is a standard chain restaurant, usually in large spaces and with lots of tables so you seldom (if ever) have to wait. They tend to be sited in up-market and gentrified areas of town.
The menu contains your basic Italian style menu - lots of different pizzas, but some salads and pasta dishes and the usual bread-based side dishes like garlic bread and bruschetta.
