A branch of the Pizza Express chain near the Barbican.

There are three tables on the pavement outside (two chairs per table) but most of the seating is indoors. This is one of the branches where you can use a "three courses for £12.95" code: you need to subscribe to their mailing list to get the code, but then you can use the same code for an entire group. They're also happy for people to upgrade this, eg by paying extra for more toppings.

John and friends visited twice in November 2012. The restaurant was fairly full on a Friday evening but we were still able to get a table for six people right away. On a Sunday evening it was almost empty. Both times, service was very prompt, and the staff were happy to bring us a jug of tap water (and refill it).

Accessibility: Step free access to the main part of the restaurant, but toilets are downstairs.
