VQ, formerly Vingt-Quatre, is a small chain of 24-hour cafes. The original opened in Chelsea in 1995. This one, in the St Giles Hotel near Tottenham Court Road Station, opened in October 2013.

secretlondon is frankly nocturnal and visited this branch one weekday morning at 2am to get a takeaway coffee. VQ was light and neony with a few customers sitting down. They have an extensive range of food and a bar. I imagine it is much more normal to eat in than takeaway. The staff all had exotic facial hair which may not be a standard feature. There was light background music and it is generally quite classy, not a late night kebab shop type of vibe.

My takeaway Americano coffee cost £2 and was standard sized.

If I were to eat in there is a 12.5% service charge and £1 charge per person on Friday and Saturday nights between 1am and 6am. They have an alcohol license from 8am to 2am.
