Zone 1 Tube station on the Circle and District lines, just a couple of minutes' walk from Fenchurch Street Station (rail) and Tower Gateway Station (DLR).
There is full step-free access from the ticket halls to all three platforms following the installation of two new lifts in 2016, and there are also step-free routes to Fenchurch Street and Tower Gateway.
There's a kind of one-way system type thing going on; the entrance and exit are separate. It's a bit confusing, but just follow the signs.
There's a stall outside the entrance selling hot chestnuts and toffee apples and such things; Liz W says it's there pretty much year-round.
