[[Kake]] visited on a Thursday afternoon in June 2008. Two of the three handpumps in the downstairs bar were on; London Pride (£2.90/pint) and Greene King IPA. Unfortunately the Pride was not very good. It was cloudy, it didn't taste fresh, and the head left unpleasant-looking rings around the glass as I drank it. In fact I didn't even bother finishing it. Given that this is an Irish pub (one of London's oldest Irish pubs, and possibly the oldest), it might be better to stick to the Guinness.

Small Greene King pub on Fleet Street. The downstairs bar is very narrow, with a number of bar stools and a couple of small tables tucked in around the edge of the bar, and a very small amount of standing room. It's a little more spacious in the upstairs bar, but this isn't open all the time.

Food is served 11am-9pm, according to a board seen outside in June 2008. Not sure if it's open on the weekends; City pubs often aren't.

The upstairs bar is available for private hire.
