Tas was a small Turkish restaurant in [[Locale Farringdon|Farringdon]]. According to Google Street View, it had closed down by September 2017.
This Turkish restaurant is part of a small chain, each of which offers a small variation on consistent themes both in the menu and the decor (which is attractive, although taller diners will find the low chairs a little awkward). There is a stairlift to the downstairs area which contains the toilets.

The food is well prepared and presented, with a large variety and plenty to keep vegetarians happy. Dedicated carnivores should try the grills, which come in large portions. The desserts are very good. The set menus are good and suit a range of budgets from £8.65 per head for the Yaz menu (a selection of vegetarian mezze) to £19 for the Aslan. itsbruce has found it easy to come here with a large and hungry group and yet eat healthily and lightly.

On most evenings there is some (quiet) live music, in the form of guitar or tanbur music played in a traditional Turkish style.

This restaurant is less busy than others in the chain, probably because of the location, so booking is not normally an issue.

Note: when this venue first opened, it was a Pide restaurant like the New Globe Walk venue.

Last visited by itsbruce, July 2008.
